Up the Columbia! (Free option)
A YA graphic history of the Columbia River Dams
From the blurb:
Rose is in Astoria when she hears about the Columbia River Treaty negotiations, which are going to redistribute resources along the river. Power, water, fish, and protection from floods - who gets what? How do you quantify things like that, anyway?
Join her as she travels up the Columbia, learning the history of the river and the dams that regiment it.
This is my undergraduate art thesis. The printing was funded by a Reed College Undergraduate Research Grant, and I'm paying it forward by providing free copies to anyone who wants one for their school, library, or community center.
(I can't actually make things free on BigCartel, so send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org if you don't want the hassle of wiring a penny.)
